IGF Expert Committee 3 Visits Airbus in Hamburg

This year’s in-person meeting of IGF Expert Committee 3, “Business Administration and Production Management,” part of the Industrial Collective Research (IGF) programme, was held at Airbus’s Hamburg-Finkenwerder site.

In addition to providing an opportunity for professional exchange and the evaluation of numerous research proposals, the event offered fascinating insights into Airbus’s modern and highly complex aircraft manufacturing operations.

Special thanks go to Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Ingo Dieckmann of Airbus Operations GmbH and the DLR Project Management Agency for their excellent organisation, warm hospitality and impressive guided tour of the facility.
